.German-Indian Management Studies (M.B.A.)

Our idea behind the German-Indian Management Studies Programme (GIMS)

The historic relationship between India and Germany has traditionally been close and amicable, particularly in the area of trade Germany and India have established a long-standing relationship over centuries.

Recent statistics indicate that Germany and India have become vital trading partners, with a huge growth potential in the areas of exchange of goods, services and technological know-how transfer.

The result of this trend is an increasing need for leadership positions in companies operating on an international level, specifically in India and Germany. German companies with subsidiaries in India, or Indian companies establishing a branch in Germany require a specific qualification profile for potential employees in management positions.

Technical product knowledge paired with core business skills and an understanding of marketing principals are becoming essential. In addition it is imperative to understand the business operations in the regions of economic exchange: In the countries where goods and services originate and the target regions which they are being exported to.
